We specialise in miniature dachshunds and when you buy a puppy from us you can rest assured no expense has been spared.

Here at Cariadtish’s dachshunds we can make your whole journey an enjoyable experience. It’s very important to us as breeders that you always feel apart of our breeding journey.  From start to finish we try and ensure the whole experience is enjoyable and stress free.

Our first form of contact would be you filling in a puppy application form. From this when will have all the relevant information about you and what time of puppy you’re looking for and it’ll be time for you to ask us any questions or worries you may have.

Once we have a confirmed pregnancy we will contact everyone waiting and you shall receive a scanning video of the expected litter and your potential new puppy.

Now we’re all just waiting on the big day. I usually find my girls go around the 63 day mark but can go early or later which is completely normal.

Once the litter is born we will update you with the exiting news, and I then contact everyone waiting to confirm if the puppies born are suitable for your family.

We are happy to face time with the puppies for you to see them but don’t allow visitors until 4 weeks of age. We then ask for a holding fee to secure your puppy.

Once this is received we will send you our puppy information book.

We’ve realise how daunting bringing a puppy into your home can be. We’ve put together a care book for you to have a peace of mind when you take your puppy home. In the book we discuss toileting, crate training and generally the dos and don’ts of introducing a puppy to your home & family.

We are always here for support and advice, but we hope this book can answer some of your questions/concerns of becoming a dachshund owner. As well as helping families feel reassured and ready to bring home their little bundle of joy!.
